LifeHouse Church is an Australian Christian Churches congregation, founded in Melbourne in 2002 by Richard and Helen Kobakian. What began as seventeen people meeting in a lounge room is now a family of seven churches across four countries: Melbourne and Adelaide in Australia, Poznań and Kraków in Poland, Hannover in Germany, and Phnom Penh in Cambodia.
We exist to connect people to Jesus and His Church, and to help them become passionate followers of Christ. If you are looking for a church, you are welcome at any of our locations this Sunday, whether you have been in church your whole life or have never set foot in one.
God has called LifeHouse to be a large, Jesus centred church, full of grace and truth, reaching and equipping all generations around the world.

Richard and Helen Kobakian began LifeHouse Church with a congregation of seventeen. From the first meeting the dream was a church that felt like family: a place where people could meet Jesus and find the life of abundance He offers.
After thirteen years of meeting in hired spaces, the church moved into its own building at 9-11 Western Avenue, Westmeadows. Having a permanent home changed what was possible: a café that's open through the week, rooms for kids and youth, and a building the wider community can use.
LifeHouse Poznań was planted in Poland, opening doors across Europe and beginning a season of church planting that continues today.
LifeHouse Adelaide joined the family. LifeHouse Hannover launched in Germany in November. Kinga and Patryk Kowalewski moved from Poznań to Kraków to begin gathering a team.
Two new churches launched in a single year. Across the global family, average Sunday attendance grew and more people made a decision to follow Jesus.
Seven locations, four countries, one family. Every location runs weekly Sunday services, Grow Groups through the week, and ministries for kids, youth and young adults.

Richard and Helen are the founders and Global Senior Pastors of LifeHouse Church. They have led the church since its first service in 2002.
Their heart is to see people not only connect with Jesus and His church, but become passionate followers of Christ, encountering His love in an environment of family, excellence, creativity, generosity and fun. They also carry a deep commitment to raising and partnering with leaders, which is why a church that began with seventeen people now has churches on three continents.
LifeHouse Church is a member of Australian Christian Churches, a movement of almost 1,100 churches and more than 250,000 believers across Australia.
We believe the Bible is the Word of God, that Jesus is the Son of God who died and rose again, and that a relationship with Him is available to anyone who asks. We believe church should be a family, not an institution and that the local church is the hope of its community.
LifeHouse Church has seven locations: Melbourne (Westmeadows), Adelaide (Lightsview) and Adelaide West (Albert Park) in Australia; Poznań and Kraków in Poland; Hannover in Germany; and Phnom Penh in Cambodia.
LifeHouse Melbourne meets every Sunday at 9am, 11am and 4pm at 9-11 Western Avenue, Westmeadows, Victoria.

LifeHouse Church began in 2002 in Melbourne, with seventeen people meeting in Richard and Helen Kobakian’s lounge room.
LifeHouse Kids runs during every Sunday service, with age-appropriate programs from babies through primary school, plus Youth and Young Adults (YADs) ministries. More than 200 children attend across our locations each Sunday.
